The test plates shall

9、 be prepared in such a manner that the upper plate and the lower plate are fixed by an appropriate method, then 2-pass welding shall be made for restraint by using the same material as the welding material to be used in the test as shown in Fig. 2. (3) 3. Test method 3.1 Welding of test plates (1) T

10、he test plate shall be prepared by using the steel products specified in JIS G 3101, JIS G 3103, JIS G 3106, JIS G 3126, JIS G 4051 and JIS G 4109 or steel products equivalent thereto. (2) The welding material to be used in the test shall be in general, the covered electrode, the gas shielded arc we

11、lding wire, and the self- shielded arc welding wire as specified in JIS Z 3211, JIS Z 3212, JIS Z 3223, JIS Z 3241, JIS Z 3312, JIS 2 3313, JIS Z 3316, JIS Z 3317, JIS Z 3318 and JIS Z 3325. (3) After cooling the test plates perfectly to room temperature, and holding it on a suitably heat-insulated

12、jig, make the test welding in flat position. For test welding, first weld test bead 1 as shown in Fig. 2, cool the test plates perfectly to room temperature in a windless atmosphere, and then weld test bead 2. (4) Fig. 2.
