12、oduction or networking permitted without license from IHS -,-,- JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS H 7503 : 2003 Method for measurement of cavity volume fraction of superplastically deformed metallic materials Introduction Metallic superplastic materials sometimes generate a cavity inside the material

13、 in superplastic deforming. Though the cavity is different according to the material quality and deforming conditions, it sometimes reaches several percentages in a volume rate. Since the cavity brings deterioration of mechanical properties of superplastically deformed products, a cavity volume frac

14、tion is considered important as one of quality evaluations. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method for obtaining the cavity volume fraction of superplastically deformed metallic materials showing fine grained superplasticity under superplasticity revealing conditions from mea

After the indication of the balance is stabilized, repeat f) and g) several times. Notes (1) When the sample is mounted o

(2) When it is put into water, the sample should be stored in water at the same temperature near the balance in order to make a tempera- ture difference between the sample and the water small. C
