3、nveyors (hereafter referred to as the “pulleys“) to be used mainly for transportation of loose bulk materials (such as ores, muds and sands, coal, cement and cereals). However, such as motor pulleys and magnetic pulleys are excluded. Remarks 1. The applicable Standards to this Standard are the follo

Qualities The outer cylinder part of the pulleys shall be free from harmful ec- centricity and uneven wail thickness. In addition, the performances, where it has support by beari

11、ngs, shail be smooth on revolution of pulley, and be excellent in balance and circularity. 5. Shapes and construction The pulley shall be that of a cylindrical shape which conducts the driving and guidance of a belt having a contact angle in respect to the belt, consisting of an outer cylinder, end

12、plates and a shaft. The pulley shall be robust agianst the tension and driving torque of the belt being loaded to the pulley and be endurable sufficiently in use. 27、 6.6 Differences for pulley outer diameters The permissible values of the differences for the pulley outer diameters for Grade A pulleys shall be in accordance with Table 8. 7. Test methods 7.1 Pulley outer diameter As regards the pulley outer diameter, measure at three places or over on the overall

28、 width. 7.2 Distance between the bearing centers As regards the distance between the bearing centers, it may also be obtained by adding pulley width to the measured values of the lengths between the end faces of pulley outer cylinder and the mounting centers of bearings. 7.3 Runout on pulley outer d

29、iameter As regards the runout on the pulley outer diameter, measure at three places or over on the overall width. 8. Inspection The inspection shall be carried out, according to the grades of pulleys, on respective items of Table 9, and the results shall conform to the re- quirements of 4. and 6. Ta

The driven pulley of 800 mm in belt width, 1000 mm in pulley outer diameter, 135 mm in shaft diameter at end plate, and 100 mm in bearing diameter: JIS B 8814 POOO-SO * 100-135 100 Example 2. The driving pulley of 1200 mm in belt width, 1400 mm in pulley outer diameter, 150 mm in shaft dia

33、meter at end plate, and 140 mm in bearing diameter, and of right hand rotation and Grade A pulley: Notes (2) The symbol of P shall express a .pulley, and the form of pulley shall be the form determined by the manufacturers side. (3) The nominal size shaii consist of belt width, pulley outer diameter

34、, shaft diameter at end plate and bearing diameter. Remarks 1. The units of nominal sizes shall be expressed by cm unit for the belt width and pulley outer diameter, and by mm unit for the shaft diameter. 2. When required, the rotational direction shall be clearly stated. In this case, clockwise rot

35、ational direction viewed from the mounting side of driving components shaii be defined as R (right handed rotation), and counterclockwise rotational direction as L (left handed rotation). 10. Marking. The pulley shall be marked with the following information on an ap- propriate place. (1) (2) Manufa
