9、for various uses, as a result of the investigation for conformation of JIS and ISO. The former JIS G 0203 was composed of a part corresponding to International Standard IS0 6929 Steel products-Definitions and classification (Steel products classified by manufacturing method and shape), and the other
10、 part not correspond- ing to it (Steel products classified by use and their qualities). For this revision, the contents of JIS G 0203 : 1984 were divided into the two parts. One part was speci- fied newly in JIS G 0403 in accordance with IS0 6929, and the other part was specified in JIS G 0203. But,
11、 some of the terms are specified in both standards for conve- nience. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the principal terms and their definitions related to the products and their qualities for each use of the rolled, cast or forged steels. 2 Normative references The following stan
12、dards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard.
