Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the inserted nut abrasive discs and inserted nut ring wheels, here

5、inafter, referred to as the “grinding wheels“ , which have used the alumina and silicon carbide grits of JIS R 6111 and alumina zirconia abrasive grains. 2. Types ing to the materials and grain sizes of abrasive grains used, grades and struc- tures of the grinding wheels , and materials of bond. The

6、 types of the grinding wheels shall be as given in Tables 1 to 5, accord- Table 1 a Types according to materials of abrasive grains A, WA, PA, HA, Z C , GC (Silicon carbide system) (Alumina system) Remark: Any mixture of 2 types of abrasive grains may be used, in this case, the symbols of the abrasi

7、ve grains used are designated together. This is called as a mixed abrasive grains. Qualities 3.1 Appearance The grinding wheels shall be free from such harmful de- fects in use as cracks, fissures, chippings and flaws. in accordance with the GOSHI type testing method s

12、pecified in 3.2.1 of JIS R 6240, of which depths of indentation of bit shall conform to Table 6, in the case where the resinoid bond has been used. 3.2 Grades The grades of the grinding wheels, when subjected to the test Furthermore, as agreed between the parties concerned, the test may be made in a

16、f the grinding wheels, when subjected to the test in accordance with the grain percentage test specified in 3.3 of JIS R 6240, shall conform to Table 7 in the case of the resinoid grinding wheels and to Table 8 in the case of the magnesia grinding wheels. Furthermore, the grain percentage test of th

17、e magnesia grinding wheels shall be in accordance with that of the vitrified grinding wheels, as appropriate. 19、.1 Maximum Operating Peripheral Speeds The maximum operating 3.4.2 Degree of Safety peripheral speeds of the grinding wheels shall be in accordance with JIS R 6241. The degree of safety of the grinding wheels of 100 mm or over in outside diameter, when subjected to the test i n accordance with the r

20、otation test specified in 3.5.1 of JIS R 6240, shall conform to the require- ments of the classification 2 of Table 9. However, for those which have been specified in Table 1 of the ordinary speed specified in 2.1 of JIS R 6241, and those which have conformed to the requirements of the classificatio

21、n 3 of Table 9, when subjected to the test in accordance with the destructive rotation test specified in 3.5.2 of JIS R 6240, the rotation test on each lot of the classification 2 may be omitted. Furthermore, for those which are not conforming to therequirements of the classification 2 or classifica

22、tion 3, the requirements of the classification 1 may be applied. Shapes, Dimensions and Dimensional Permissible Deviations 4.1 The shapes and dimensions of the grinding wheels shall be in accordance with Fig. 21, Fig. 22 and Attached Fig. 5 (5) and Attached Table 5 (5), Attached Figs. 5 (6) (a) to (i) and Attached Tables 5 (6) (a) to (i), Att

31、ached Figs. 5 (7) and Attached Table 5 (7) (a) and (b), Attached Figs. 5 (8) (alto (o) and Attached Tables 5 (8) (a) to (o) specified in JIS R 6211. 4.2 The dimensional permissible deviations of the grinding wheels shall be as given in Table 1 1 for the inserted nut disc type grinding wheels and Tab

Materials 5.1 Artificial Abrasives The artificial abrasives to be used for the grinding wheel
