5、g and manufacturing industries. Remark: The process chart herein shows the processes to give changes on raw materials, working materials, par or products, and means the process series indicating the sequence relationship concerning the individual elemental processes constituting the process and thei
6、r elemental processes. working, transportation, stagnation and inspection, further, the stagnation, into storage and congestion, and the inspection, into quantity inspection and quality inspection. Method of Using Graphical Symbols for Process Chart 1 . 1 Process Chart The process chart means the chart indicating the pro- cess of manufacturing products by use of graphical symbols for process chart, and shall be as follows: (1) The process cha
14、rt may be- designated as process analysis chart or pro- cess plan chart according to its purpose of use. (2) process chart, the beginning state and ending state of process series shall be indicated by using storage symbols. The process chart shall, as a rule, be indicated longitudinally according to
15、 the relationship of sequence of elemental process. If the joining or branching portion exists in the process series, the flow lines shall be described as shown in Reference Fig. 1, and the main series be indicated at the center of the process chart. 24、expressing each series added with respective numbers of sequence. 1 . 4 Methods for Transportation If it is necessary to indicate the method of transportation in the transportation process, the abbreviated designation, symbol or letter expressing the method of transportation may be inscribed within
25、the transportation symbol. In that case, the remark column shall be provided to describe the explanation for abbreviated designation, symbol or letter. 27、s form, joining form, branching form and composite form. The process chart shall be constituted of combination of these forms. The form constituting of a series as shown in Reference (1) Series Form Fig. 2 (1). (2) Joining Form The form constituting of a series by collecting plural series, as shown
28、in Reference Fig. 2 (2). (3) Branching Form The form constituting of plural series by branching a series as shown in Reference Fig. 2 (3). (4) Composite Form This is the form which branches from the series of series form and again join the series as shown in Reference Fig. 2 ( 4 ) , and is classifie

32、982 2.2 Process Analysis Chart by Series Form The process analysis chart shown in Reference Attached Fig. 1 is an example of analyzing the current state concerning the process of axle parts in order to improve the organization of its process, arrangement of facilities, etc. Further, in process chart
33、 by series form, as shown in Reference Attached Fig. 2, the type in which the basic graphical symbols preliminarily described are connected by flow lines may be used. The chart of arrangement of facilities, working places or buildings in which the graphical symbols for process chart are inscribed is
34、 designated as flow line chart, and is used to indicate the relationship of positions for each graphical symbol for process chart. Reference Attached Fig. 3 is an example in which the processes in Reference Attached Fig. 1 are shown by flow line chart. 2.3 Process Plan Chart Mainly by Joining Form T
