5、4 -ri m m I r I 5 S 1021-1991 A I j V 5. Structure The structure shall be as follows. However, where there is no corre- sponding part or product, the item is not applicable. (1) The assembly shall be made strong by welding or other method. (2) If the assembly uses screws or other metal fittings, the

6、se shall be fastened securely such that there is no loosening at the junctions. (3) The adhering parts shall be adequately adhered so. as not to cause peeling. (4) Where wood or similar material is used, the structure shall be such that after assembly there will be no defects such as deviations, cra

7、cks, etc. (5) Parts of the desk such as the legs, hooks, etc., shall be such that the outmost ends are inside the edge of the top board. In consideration of the safety, dangerous hooks shall not be used. The leg ends shall be suitably treated so that moving the desk, does not scratch the floor surfa

8、ce or leaves traces. (6) They shall also be attached sufficiently tightly so as to not detach easily. (7) If there is a drawer, the structure shall be such that it does not fall out easily when pulled out. Pressure from the under side by the knees, etc., shall not easily detach the bottom plate. 6.

9、Dimensions 6.1 Manufacturing dimensions Dimensions of desks and chairs shall be as specified for the parts shown in Figs. 1 and 2, and the dimensions of each part shall be as given in Tables 3 and 4. 15、 9.1 (4) (a), and, as shown in Fig. 7, load the plate for a load of 600 x 400 x 9 mm and fix a weight of mass 60 kg on the top board. This mass includes the mass of the bag, pad plate for the load, and fixing devices. Next, attach the swivel metal fittings at the lower end of the leg on the reverse

16、of the sitting side of the desk, fix to the floor surface, lift up the lower end of the leg on the sitting side 100 mm and let drop. Repeat this operation at a rate of approximately 30 times per minute . continuously for 2000 times, and check for abnormalities of each part, Fig. 7. Repeated impact r

18、IHS -,-,- 13 S 1021-1991 9.4.2 Repeated impact resistance testing of chairs For the repeated impact resistance test of chairs, place the specimen on the test floor specified in 9.1 (4) (a), and, as shown in Fig. 8, fix the weight of mass 60 kg on the seat surface so as to be distributed roughly, uni

25、with the drawer pulled out to 2/3 of its depth, load the weight of mass 15 kg at a position 5 cm from the front edge, leave it for 24 h, and check for abnormalities in opening and closing the drawer and each part. 26、atment testing 9.5.1 Testing of the thickness of the paint film on wood parts The testing of the thickness of the paint film on wood parts shall be as given in 3.5 (Measurement of the thickness of paint film) of JIS K 5400. 9.5.2 Testing of the plating thickness on metal parts the plating thickness

27、on metal parts shall be as given in 5.4 (Thickness test) of JIS H 8617 or 5.2 (Thickness test) of JIS H 8610. The testing of 9.5.3 Testing of resistance to ordinary temperature liquids For the testing of resistance to ordinary temperature liquids, use for the test piece test liquid of the four class

28、es of acetic acid 4.4 % solution, ammonia 10 % solution, neutral detergent, and ink for office, as given in JIS A 1531, let stand for 6 h, wipe off the test liquid, and check for abnormalities on the painted. 9.5.4 Testing of paint adhesion to wood parts For the testing of paint adhesion to wood par

29、ts, incline a sharp knife apprommately 30 degrees to the test piece, scratch 11 lines to intersect at right angles at intervals of 2 mm so that the blade reaches the wood base to make 100 measures of 2 x 2 mm. peel off, and check for peeling of the paint. Attach the adhesive tape specified in JIS Z

30、1522, immediately 9.5.5 Testing of paint film adhesion to metal parts For the testing of paint film adhesion to metal parts, incline a sharp knife appxoimately 30 - degrees to the test piece, scratch 11 lines to intersect at right angles at intervals of 1 mm so that the blade reaches the metal base

31、(steel plate OP steel pipe) to make 100 measures of 1 x 1 mm. specified in JIS Z 1522, immediately peel off, and check for peeling of the paint film. 33、the metal parts, scratch each diagonal line on the test piece to reach the steel plate using a sharp knife and, as shown in Fig. 11, immerse approximately half of the test piece with the scratches into a beaker with 3 % brine (15 to 25OC) of approximately 70 mm in depth, allow 100 h to lapse, then w

34、hile immersed, check for blistering to 3 mm on both sides of the scratches, pull up and wash gently with water, dry, and check for rust to 3 mm on both sides of the scratches. Fig. 11. 35、 % brine (15 t o 25C) 9.5.7 Testing of the paint film hardness on the metal parts For the testing of the paint film hardness on the metal parts, hold by a device or by hand a pencil at approximately 4 5 O to the effective surface of the test piece, and press the pencil with the strongest force possi

36、ble while the lead is not broken at a rate of approximately 3 mm/l s toward the front direction from this position. In this method, when two pencils adjacent to each other in hardness symbols, while varying the position and scratching five times, reach a combination where one peels the paint film tw

37、o or more times and the other one peels less than two times, indicate the hardness of the paint film by the hardness symbol of the pencil of less than two times (Refer to Fig. 12). 39、ncils, use pencils for design drawing specified in JIS S 6006, always manufactured by the same manufacturer, and expose the lead approximately 3 mm with the lead diameter as is. Next, use abrasive paper, No. 400 specified in JISR 6252 or superior or an oil grind stone to make the top end of the lead

40、 fiat at right angles. Once the abraded portion of a pencil is used for a test, it may not be used for another test. 10. Inspection The inspection of products shall be carried out for the quality, structure, dimensions, and marking, and products shall comply with the specifications of clauses 4 . to

41、 6. and 11. Any effective sampling inspection plan may be used. 11. Marking: Products shall be marked with the following: (1) Marking of the class, compatible stature range, and base color of the marking label. Remarks 1. The class, compatible stature range, and base color of the marking label shall

42、 be as given in Table 7 according to JIS Z 8721. 2. The dimensions, shape, etc., of the marking label shall be as given in Fig. 13. e The color of the letters and frame shall be black, and the base color shall be the specified color.
