SCOPE BRAZING JOINTS for COPPER and COPPER ALLOY PRESSURE FITTINGS 1.1 This Standard Practice establishes requirements for joints for copper and copper alloy pressure-fi
10、ttings assembled by brazing into a piping system with BAg or BCuP materials. This standard is allied to American National Standards ASME B 16.18-2002, Cast Copper Alloy Solder Joint Pressure Fittings, and ASME B 16.22-2002, Wrought Copper and Copper Alloy Solder Joint Pressure Fittings. It was devel
11、oped for the purpose of providing dimensional information in regard to recommended minimum dimensions for male- end lengths and female-cup depths suitable for brazing for the pressure-temperature ratings of Table 1. 2. DESCRIPTION 2.1 Fittings shall be the same types and kinds and shall meet all req
12、uirements of ASME B 16.18 and ASME B16.22 with the following exceptions: a) Pressure-temperature ratings (See Table 1). b) Dimensions of ends (See Table 2). c) Center-to-end and end-to-end dimensions prescribed by ASME B 16.18 may be reduced in accordance with the variations of the solder-joint end
