、s- Part 1 : Leaching test method Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard is to specify the unified test methods to be applicable for the purpose of confirming the safety to human and environment when the slags such as steel slag, non-ferrous slag, waste molten slag are effectively utilized. 1

、 Scope This Standard specifies the leaching test methods of chemicals carried out for the purpose of evaluating the safety to the environment such as soil, ground- water from the slag materials such as steel slag, non-ferrous slag, waste molten slag and the products (slags) such as roadbed materials

、, asphaltic products, concrete products using them. The chemical substances for the target of this leaching test method are the inorganic matter such as lead, cadmium, mercury, fluorine, boron. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, c

、 leaching is the solution in which chemical substance is leached from Summary of test methods There are the two kinds of test such as the test carried out under using condition as it is and the test carried out by using the crushed sample, in the leaching test method. The test under using condition

、as it is means the method in which a definite amount of sample is taken under using condition as it is, ten times of its solvent (water) is added to it and agitated at approximately 200 r.p.m. for 6 h to leach chemical substance and then the inspection solution is obtained. The test by using crushed

、 sample means the method in which a definite amount of sample of 2 mm or under obtained by crushing and classifying is taken, ten times of its solvent (water) is added to it and shaken at approximately 200 r.p.m. for 6 h to leach chemical substance and then the inspection solution is obtained. Usual

However, in some cases, the test by using crushed sample is used based on the grounds of the situation of use and the like. 5 Test under using condition as it is The solvent (water of pH 5.8 to pH 6.3) of ten times amount of sample is added to the
