10、 properties published in 1996 as the second edition without modifying the technical contents. 1 Scope This part of JIS T 9111 specifies the method of determining the tensile properties of rubber condoms. Remarks : The following standard is the corresponding International Standard to this Standard. I

13、than 70 mm. 3 . 2 Tensile testing machine, capable of an essentially constant rate of traverse and meeting the following requirements: a) stress within a specimen shall be equalized either by rotating one roller me- chanically or by lubricating the cylindrical surfaces of the rollers with a mate- ri

14、al that does not affect the rubber. If one roller is mechanically rotated, its rotational frequency shall be approximately 7 min-; a force range of O N to 200 N; a roller separation speed of 8.5 m d s f 0.8 m d s (500 mdmin zk 50 mdmin); manual or preferably automatic recording of the separation dis

15、tance of the roll- ers and of the force during the test. b) c) d) 4 Preparation of sample specimens 4 . 1 Move the condom inside the package such that it is away from the area where the package is to be torn. Tear the package and remove the condom. In no circum- stances use scissors or other sharp i

16、nstruments to open the package. 4 . 2 Dust the test piece with a suitable powder. Lay the condom flat with its length at right angles to the cutting edge of the die. 18、end is not parallel-sided or textured, take the test piece from an adjacent parallel-sided, nontextured region. If no region of 80 mm from the open end. be used. Carefully wipe the test piece with a sufficient quantity of propan-2-01, or water for water-soluble lubricants, to remove any dressing mat
