3、shed pursuant to the Federal Communication Commissions (“FCC”) Report and Order in the 2000 Biennial Review of Part 68 of the Commissions Rules and Regulations, CC Docket No. 99-216, FCC 00-400, adopted November 9, 2000 and released December 21, 2000 (“Order” or “R (b) there is no assurance that the

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in its Report & Order, FCC 00-400, on FCC Docket No. 99-216, man

17、dated creation of the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA). In 47 CFR 68.7(b) ACTA was charged to adopt and publish technical criteria to prevent harms to the telephone network submitted to it by standards development organizations accredited by the American National Standards Inst

18、itute (ANSI). This document was created for submission to ACTA in accordance with 47 CFR 68.604. The latest requirements adopted by ACTA may be found at www.part68.org. This document is an addendum to TIA-968-A, Telecommunications Telephone Terminal Equipment - Technical Requirements for Connection

19、of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network. This addendum adds requirements for VDSL2 (very high speed digital subscriber line 2) terminal equipment . This addendum was produced by working group TR-41.9.1 of subcommittee TR-41.9, Technical and Administrative Regulatory Considerations. It was dev

20、eloped in accordance with ANSI and TIA/EIA procedural guidelines and represents the consensus position of the Working Group and its parent subcommittee, which served as the formulating group. It has also received the concurrence of Engineering Committee TR-41, User Premises Telecommunications Requir

21、ements. Committee approval of this standard does not necessarily imply that all members voted for its approval. These changes add technic

26、al criteria for VDSL2 (very high speed digital subscriber line 2) terminal equipment. 3 IMPLEMENTATION DATES The criteria in this addendum may be applied to terminal equipment approved after publication of this addendum (TIA-968-A-5) by the ACTA. The criteria in this addendum shall be applied to ter

27、minal equipment approved 6 months after publication of this addendum (TIA-968-A-5) by the ACTA. TIA-968-A-5 2 4 CLAUSE ADDITIONS/REVISIONS NEW CLAUSE 4.5.9.3 4.5.9.3 Signal limitations for VDSL2 terminal equipment 4.5.9.3.1 Total average power The maximum aggregate upstream transmit power in any VDS

28、L2 operating mode shall not exceed + 14.5 dBm into 100 ohms. 4.5.9.3.2 Power spectral density for VDSL2 over POTS and VDSL2 all digital mode operation The transmitted PSD shall not exceed the upstream PSD masks defined in the following tables (based on Annex A of ITU-T 993.2) for the VDSL2 mode of o

37、 meet the voiceband longitudinal voltage limitations of 4.5.4.1 as well as the limitations of 4.5.5.2.1 for a center frequency of 8 kHz, which covers the frequency span from 4 to 12 kHz. In addition, using the illustrative longitudinal output voltage measurement circuit in Figure 4.5, VDSL2 equipmen

38、t shall limit longitudinal output voltage above 12 kHz to the values shown in the following table. Using the illustrative longitudinal output voltage measurement circuit in Figure 4.5, VDSL2 equipment operating in an all digital mode shall limit longitudinal output voltage above 0.1 kHz to the value

39、s shown in the following table.
