3、L 1449 includes the following: Added Type designations (1, 2, 3 and 4) for SPDs based on the installation location within the electrical system; Testing revised to include Nominal Discharge Current (In), changed Suppressed Voltage Rating to Voltage Protection Level and Measured Limiting Voltage test
4、ing at 6KV/3KA; Restructuring of the requirements to organize the general requirements and particular product requirements. Particular requirements for permanently-connected SPDs, cord-connected SPDs, and direct plug-in SPDs; The following table lists the future effective dates with the correspondin

The requirements in this Standard are now in effect, except for those paragraphs,

The prior text for requirements that have been revised and that have a future effective date are located after the Standard, and are preceded by a SU
