3、or Data-Processing Cable, UL 1690 has been issued to refl ect the latest ANSI approval date and to incorporate the proposals dated June 16, 2006. These proposals included the following: The deletion of references to the Standard Test for Flame Propagation and Smoke Density Values for Electrical and
4、Optical Fiber Cables Used in Spaces Transporting Environmental Air, UL 910. The addition of Paragraph 3.2, addressing undated references, and deletion of year designations to referenced standards. The deletion of Table 7.1 and Table 11.2 to coordinate with references to UL 1581, which covers additio
5、nal wire sizes. The addition of maximum lay length 16 times the conductor diameter to Table 12.2. The addition of material type MFA to Tables 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4 and 16.1, editorial correction to material type TPE, and addition of HDFRPE and LDFRPE jacket materials to Table 16.1. 25、FROM UL New product submittals made prior to a specifi ed future effective date will be judged under all of the requirements in this Standard including those requirements with a specifi ed future effective date, unless the applicant specifi cally requests that the product be judged under the current

However, if the applicant elects this option, it should be noted that compliance with all the requirements in this Standard will be required as a condition of continued Listing and Follow-Up Services after the effective date, and understanding of this should be signifi ed in writing.
