4、thbrook, IL 60062-2096 UL Standard for Safety for Grease Ducts, UL 1978 Third Edition, Dated January 21, 2005 Summary of Topics This new edition of ANSI/UL 1978 is a periodic re-issuance to ensure that ULs Standards remain up to date with regard to format and editorial issues such as numbering, pagi

5、nation, and cross-referencing. This new edition also includes revisions to the Scope, Glossary, Materials, Performance, Test Installations, Maximum Temperature Rise Information, 500 Degree Temperature Test and the Abnormal Temperature Test. The new requirements are substantially in accordance with U

6、Ls Bulletin(s) on this subject dated August 30, 2004 and November 12, 2004. The bulletin(s) is now obsolete and may be discarded. As indicated on the title page (page 1), this UL Standard for Safety is an American National Standard. Attention is directed to the note on the title page of this Standar

7、d outlining the procedures to be followed to retain the approved text of this ANSI/UL Standard. The UL Foreword is no longer located within the UL Standard. New product submittals made prior to a specifi ed future effective date will be judged under all of the requireme
