3、062-2096 UL Standard for Safety for Semiautomatic Fire Hose Storage Devices, UL 47 Sixth Edition, Dated April 27, 2004 Summary of Topics This new edition of ANSI/UL 47 is a periodic re-issuance to ensure that ULs Standards remain up to date with regard to format and editorial issues such as numberin
4、g, pagination, and cross-referencing. This new edition also includes revisions to the Operational Test samples. The new requirements are substantially in accordance with ULs Bulletin(s) on this subject dated February 16, 2004. The bulletin(s) is now obsolete and may be discarded. As indicated on the
5、 title page (page 1), this UL Standard for Safety is an American National Standard. Attention is directed to the note on the title page of this Standard outlining the procedures to be followed to retain the approved text of this ANSI/UL Standard. The UL Foreword is no longer located within the UL St

An SHSD is intended for use with specifi cally-identifi ed fi re hose. 1.2 Requirements for the installation, use, and care of hose storage devices and fi re hose are included in the following standards of the National Fire Protection Association: Installation of Standpipe, Private Hydrants, and Hose
