Previously, UL had listed LED kits for use in new const
23、ruction, as well as for use in field retrofit sign conversions. Listing Service for LED kits for use in new construction or field retrofit sign conversions will no longer be offered by UL. UL now intends to cover LED kits for use in new construction under our Component Recognition Service and LED ki
24、ts for use in field retrofit sign conversions under our Classification Service. UL Announces that requirements for LED kits for use in new construction and for use in field retrofit sign conversions have been developed and are contained in UL?s Outline of Investigation for LED kits. UL is prepared t
25、o evaluate LED kits submitted by manufacturers. Recognition Service LED kits found to comply with the requirements for use in new construction signs are eligible for Component Recognition Service. The LED kit will be covered under UL?s Recognition Service for Component Sign Accessories (UYMR2). Reco
