3、ated June 30, 2005 Summary of Topics This new edition of ANSI/UL 346 is a periodic re-issuance to ensure that ULs Standards remain up-to-date with regard to format and editorial issues such as numbering, pagination, and cross-referencing. This new edition also includes the following revisions and cl
4、arifi cations: 1. Update the Title Page to indicate the latest approval date as an American National Standard. 2. Delete Scope Paragraph 1.5. 3. Revise Paragraph 9.3.2 to changenatural graytogray for the identifi cation of grounded conductors. 4. Update references to ASTM standards in Paragraphs 27.
5、3.2, 30.1.1, and 30.2.1. The new and revised requirements are substantially in accordance with ULs Proposal(s) on this subject dated April 4, 2005. As indicated on the title page (page 1), this UL Standard for Safety is an American National Standard. Attention is directed to the note on the title pa
6、ge of this Standard outlining the procedures to be followed to retain the approved text of this ANSI/UL Standard. The UL Foreword is no longer located within the UL Standard. New product submittals made prior to a
23、specifi ed future effective date will be judged under all of the requirements in this Standard including those requirements with a specifi ed future effective date, unless the applicant specifi cally requests that the product be judged under the current requirements. However, if the applicant elects
24、 this option, it should be noted that compliance with all the requirements in this Standard will be required as a condition of continued Listing and Follow-Up Services after the effective date, and understanding of this should be signifi ed in writing.
