6、 A manual motor controller as described in 73.1.3 shall be provided with instructions that include the following: a) The device is to be installed only on the load side of branch circuit protection; b) The current adjustment of the manual motor controller set at not more than the rated input current

8、 or 600Y/347. 9) RESISTORS WITH INTERMITTENT DUTY RATINGS 174B.1.1 A resistor with non-continuous duty ratings shall be subjected to a current equal to the maximum non-continuous current rating throughout the whole or any part of the resistance elements until the operation of an integral protective

9、device or constant temperatures. Exception: A non-continuous duty resistor intended for use only as an integral part of an adjustable speed drive shall be evaluated to the requirements in the Standard for Power Conversion Equipment, UL 508C.
