35、lifornia, US. They asked students to participate over three different periods. During each period, there were different carbon dioxide levels. Students had to take part in role-playing games on a computer: They were told they were managers and the organization they were running was having some probl

36、ems. Each student was then graded on how well they dealt with these problems. Like the experiment from six years before, the results showed that students were more likely to make careful, smart decisions with less CO2 in the air. Their ability was reduced when the CO2 in the room rose, Science News

An interesting thing that Fisk noticed was that even though the students knew that the 9 amount of CO2 was changing throughout the day, none of them felt the difference between each period. This means that CO2 can do harm without us even realizing it. This problem is especially serious for

38、 schools because there are lots of people in classrooms for long hours every day. So it is important that rooms are ventilated(通风 ). US scientists recently surveyed 100 California classrooms.
