The Witch of the North told me to go to see the great Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City. He might be able to help us get home. So
3、 that s where we are going. While Dorothy is walking and talking, she suddenly sees a scarecrow in the field beside the road. Dorothy found the oil-can and carefully oiled the Tin Man with the help of the Scarecrow. The Tin Man began to move, his hands and legs. Ti
9、n Man: Thank you! I feel better now. You see, I went out in the rain and water is very bad for a tin body. I was there for a long time, and nobody came to help me. Dorothy: Lucky for you. We just pass by. Time Man: Where are you going? Dorothy: I want to go back to Kansas, my home. The Wizard 多萝西：啊！

Be quiet, Toto, he isn t going to hurt us. He s more afraid than you are. He s just a big coward. Lion: It s true

17、rrives at the Emerald City. They goes to a big green house and meet the Wizard of Oz one by one. First Dorothy, then the Scarecrow, and then the Tin Man, and last the lion. After they come out, they talk about what happened in the house. Dorothy: Oh, how terrible! I saw a very, very big head on a gr
18、een chair! There was no body, or arms, or legs only a head. 23、 not before. ” I was angry then, but the ball of fire got bigger and bigger, so I ran away. Dorothy: Oh, what are we going to do now?
