Liuyang fireworks are one of the specialities of Hunan province, they are also well-known in the world. Liuyang fireworks are produced

2、 with fine manufacturing procedures and the quality is excellent. They once won the excellent medal on Chicago expositive in USA. liuyang already has a history of more than 1400 years of producing firecrackers, and it is also called” firecrackers town “in China. Referring to liuyang firecrackers and

3、 fireworks, history can be traced back to Tang and song Dynasty. Legend emperor yongzheng reigned in 1678 , he asked to set off fireworks and firecrackers in the first year of Lantern Festival, to innovate fireworks and firecrackers industry. A.D. 960-1127(Nothern Song Dynasty years,) Liuyang firewo

4、rks up to the first peak, in 1723,the qing dynasty years, the Liuyang fireworks became tributes , and in 1875, began to export to Japan, Korea, India, Iran, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia and other countries.Since 1991, Liuyang began to organize “Liuyang Fireworks Festival”, since the
