2、保证正常行驶的情况下，又能节省油料，是一个对经济和环保都有意义课题进入了21世纪，石油，成了能左右人类经济命脉的战略资源，围绕着对石油的争夺，产生过三次石油危机，每次危机到来，油价就产生一次跃升。据估算，60%的原油都被提炼成了汽油加进了汽车的油箱中。最新国际油价已经达到140美元一桶，昂贵的价格，使得每个人都不鸿不小心翼翼地使用每升汽油，汽车的油耗被提到了一个很重要的位置。汽车工业的发展给世界经济带来了重大机遇和活力，但是汽车工业也带给人类不少负面的影响。严重的汽车交通事故，能源过度消耗、浪费及环境污染，已成为制约世界汽车工业甚至人类社会可持续发展的障碍。汽车节能与环保是目前国际性的研究热点
