4、have imagined him/his becoming a politician?你想到过他会成为一个政治家吗？3. imagine后面还可以跟复合宾语，如：1）imagine+名词/代词+名词The boy likes to imagine himself a flyer.那孩子喜欢想象自己是个飞行员。2）imagine+名词/代词+形容词Imagine yourself rich and famous.设想一下你自己既有钱又有名的情形。3）imagine+名词/代词+介词短语Imagine yourself in his place.4) imagine+名词/代词+分词He ima

(英语常用动词用法词典)而这个例子中，作宾语补足语的不定式还是to be。由此可知，高考题中的答案自然是C,B和D不应是正确答案。4. imagine 后跟带有as的宾语补足语前面我们叙述了imagine后跟复合宾语的各
8、种情形。但是，在有些宾语补足语前也可以用as。如：I had imagined you as a big tall man.我原以为你是一个高大个儿。He imagine himself as the saviour of his country.他把自己想象成为国家的救星。I imagined him as being older5. imagine 一般不用于进行时，但现代英语用法词典中却出现了下面的句子：Hes always imagining dangers that dont exist.他总是想象一些并不存在的危险。显然，这里的进行时因与always连用，故带有特定的感情色彩。这种用法高一英语第一册第一课中学过（He said when a person is learning a foreign language, he must not always be translating everything into his own language.），此文就不再阐述了。
