4、njoy the life.教学过程Step 1 Warming up and lead in Find these places on the map in Activity 1 .1. Read out the names of the places and have the students repeat them after you .2. Ask them to find the places on the map .3To give a description of these placesCalifornia is a state in the west of the USA.

5、It is on the east coast of thePacific Ocean. Los Angeles, Hollywood, Disneyland and Santa Monica are in California. Los Angeles is a modern city with lots of tall buildings. Hollywood is famous for its movie. Disneyland is a place for people to enjoy themselves.4To pronounce the names of these place

11、oy oneself都是“玩得很高兴”的意思。3. How long did it take to get there? 去那儿花多长时间? 1) how long 多久,对一段时间进行询问。Eg. How long did you live there? Three months. 你在那儿住了多久了?三个月。 2) take 指”花费时间”; it为形式主语,而真正的主语为不定式, 常用句型it takes sb time / money to do sth Eg. It took you three months to live there. 你花了三个月的时间住在那儿。4. We go

12、t there at 9 oclock in the morning on the same day! 我们在同一天的上午到那儿! on the same day 在同一天5. How long did you spend there? 你们在那儿呆了多长时间? spend 的主语是人 1) spend time / money on sth.Eg. She spends lots of money on new clothes. 她把许多钱花在新衣服上。 2) spend time / money (in) doing sth.Eg. You spent three months livin
