1、V-ing form as Subject and Object众所周知,语法课一直是一种比较枯燥的课型,很难让学生动起来。我一直在尝试如何将枯燥的语法课上得更有趣,让学生在相对轻松、快乐的氛围中学得更有效,并通过活动使学生掌握必要的语法规则。自己上学的时候,英语教师一般直接把语法规则告诉我们,然后就是做大量的练习,而这些练习中,可能有很多是没有真实语境的,这种操练实际上是无效的,对于学生提升英语水平是不利的。所以,我一直认为:上语法课,安排语法练习也应该设置一个相对真实的语境,让学生去实行操练,这样会有效得多。今天这个语法设计我仅仅给出一个方案、一种尝试,希望借此和大家一起探讨。教材依据:人

2、教版高一教材模块4第二单元Discovering useful structures部分的内容为动词 -ing 形式用作主语和宾语.教学过程:Step One:一:Warming up (Listening to an English song)教学思路:听英文歌曲填入所缺歌词引入本节课的目标语言结构动词-ing 形式。学生通过听,写,看的形式,在教师的提示下自我发现并注重目标语言的形式和用法,同时也实行热身,为同学们营造一种轻松和谐的学习环境。LOVE By John LennonLove is real; real is love. Love is knowing we can be.Love is free; free is love. Love is leaving; leaving love. Love is needing to be loved.首先让学生仔细听歌曲,把空缺的词填上,因为目的在于引入而非训练听力,因而歌词较简单

4、,让学生明确只听一遍;听完请一位同学表现结果,大家共同验证信息的准确性;最后引导学生观察所填单词,发现共同点,引入本节课的主题:动词 -ing 形式。二:Discovering structures教学思路:通过名人名言、俗语及绕口令,引导学生发现V-ing Form as Subject and Object这个目标语言结构,同时对学生实行情感教育。首先,让学生高声朗读下列句子,接着,请学生将它们翻译成汉语并自然获得动词 -ing 形式可作主语和宾语,从而切入课题。1. Having too much experience is a dangerous thing. 经验过多反而危险。2.

5、A good beginning makes a good ending. 善始者善终。3. Reading without reflecting is like eating without digesting.读书不加思考,如同吃东西不经消化。4. Sounding by sound is a sound method of sounding sounds.Step Two:一:学习动词 -ing 形式用作主语要求学生用动词-ing形式解释表格中的文本信息,第一题先给出答案作为例子,引导学生在运用中掌握动词- ing 形式用作主语。Text messagesMeaning1. It is

To argue with him is no use.It is no use arguing with him.二: 学习动词 -ing 和不定式充当宾语的异同通过下列文字所描绘的情境,使学生在形象化、真实化的语境中明白动词-ing 和不定式充当宾语的异同。I remember the fact that I gave a gift to Tom for his holiday yesterday.
