Section A 1 (1a-2c)教学目标:知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: heel, scoop, electricity, style, project, pleasure, zipper, daily, website, pioneer, list, mention 能掌握以下句型: When was the telephone invented? I think it was invented in 1876. What are they used for? They are used for seeing at nigh

2、t. 水平目标:能谈论物品被发明的时间,表达某发明的用途。情感目标:了解一些近现代发明的时间及用途,激发自己热爱发明的情感。培养想象力,善于观察事物。面对难题,用积极的态度去解决,发挥想象力,理解世界,改造世界。 关 键:重点: 1) 本课时的单词、词组和句型,学习使用一般过去时态的被动语态。会询问发明时间及用途的基本句型:When was the telephone invented? I think it was invented in 1876. What are they used for? They are used for seeing at night.难点:使用一般过去时态的被

3、动语态来讨论发明的发明时间及用途。关键:被动语态学情分析本课时谈论这种发明了解历史,学生较为感兴趣。但首次遇到被动语态,难度较大,所以在之前先让学生了解主动和被动之间的变换,以降低难度。一、Lead in1. T:Whats this in English?S: Its a desk. T: Whats it made of?S: Its made of wood. When was it invented?学生回答1879,并练习1876,1885,1927等年份设计意图:复习被动语态,为下面的教学活动做铺垫。二、 Presentation 引导学生们学习一般过去时态的被动语态结构。Guessing game: What things can be used for sending e-mails/traveling/talking/watching matches? 引出computer car telephone Tv 等词 ,并练习 be use

5、d for+v.ingEg . The computer is used for sending e-mails.Talking1. Look at the pictures in 1a. Discuss with your group, in what order do you think they were invented? Try to number them 1-4. 2. Ss discuss with their partners and number the pictures. 3. Talking about the inventions: A: I think the TV

6、 was invented before the car. B: Well, I think the TV was invented after the TV. 设计意图:通过描述图片上的物品,学习心得语言知识was invented、Listening (1b)1. T: Tell Ss look at the pictures and years on the left. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen. 3. Ss listen to the conversation and try to match the invention wi

7、th the proper year. 4. Play the recording again. 5. Check the answers. 预设:通过猜测发明的时间,让学生对各项发明有一定的了解,降低难度设计意图:通过猜测发明的时间,用was /were invented 、句型描述,熟悉其用法,并为听力做铺垫 Pair work (1c)1. Ss try to remember the invention and the year. 2. Student B, cover the dates. Student A, ask Student B when the things in the

8、 picture in 1b were invented. Then change roles and practice again. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer in pairs. e.g. A: When was the telephone invented? B: I think it was invented in 1876. 预设:个别同学不会用新的知识结构,因此多模仿1c例句。设计意图:运用知识,提高学生的表达能力. Learning the new words & Listening Look at the pictures then lea

9、rn the new words.Work on 2a: T: Tell Ss they will hear some interesting inventions. 1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things what they are used for. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss re

10、ad the chart below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. 4. Listen again and fill in the blanks. 预设:通过前面的学习,大家对被动语态有了一定的了解,但此活动中有填写内容,由于部分同学词汇有限,单词总是填错,因此平时多督促

11、其背单词设计意图:通过听力,提高学生听的能力,并且进一步熟悉目标语言知识三、Pair work (2c)1. Tell Ss to make conversations using the information in 2b. Make a model for the Ss. A: What are the shoes with special heels used for? B: They are used for changing the style of the shoes. 2. Let some Ss make conversations using the information

12、in 2b. 3. See which group does the best. Role-play(2d) 1. Read the conversations and Let Ss read after the teacher. 2. Explain some new words and main points in the conversation. 3. Ask Ss to role-play the conversation in groups.预设:学生运用知识和表达能力较弱,多给一些知识框架设计意图:通过此活动进一步掌握目标语言知识,提高口语表达能力四、总结 Today weve

13、learnt the years and the passive voice of the past tense.(设计意图:让学生自己来总结,教师加以补充,再次强化本节课的学习重点)五、作业, Recite the new words and sentences .板书: Unit 6 When was it invented?
