1、The summary of Trojan WarIn ancient Greek, two famous lovers-Trojan Prince Paris and Sparta Queen Helen set off a war that destroyed the Trojan culture. On a day of 1193 B.C, the prince of the Troy Hector and his brother Paris were warmly welcomed by the king of Sparta Menelaus. However, Paris fell
2、in love with Menelaus beautiful wife-Helen at his first sight, and then he induced Helen to go with him which is believed to be a big humiliation to Menelaus. Menelaus brother Agamemnon thought it is a wonderful chance to invade and control Troy which would be a help for him to strengthen his domina
3、tion, therefore he unified some tribes and decided to retake Helen and guard his brothers glory.Agamemnon was very clear that the Trojan wall was so firm that he cant storm it easily at the leadership of Priam and his eldest son Hector. But there was a man that could deal with it easily who was thou
4、ght to be the greatest warrior whose name was Achilles. Achilles was a natural warrior and never was defeated, the only reason why he joined the war was that he wanted the supreme glory and to be remembered forever. During the war, Achilles fell in love with Pariss cousin Briseis whose love aroused
5、him a kind of fantastic feeling that made him decided to withdraw from Troy and come back home. Nevertheless, Achilles cousin was unfortunately killed in Achilles armor suit by Hector. Achilles was mad at his dear cousin death, his calmness was deeply buried and his heart was filled with revenge. In
6、 return, he killed Hector in the decisive battle. But when Priam asked him to return Hectors body, his face showed a complicated expression, I believed something in his heart was touched again, and maybe something was awaked.For myself, I love Hector very much. He was thought to be the first warrior
7、 of Troy and was called as the Wall of Troy which revealed his importance to Troy. As Trojans eldest prince, he was responsible for his country and his people. When he heard his little brother brought Helen to Troy, he knew that would destroy Troy, but due to his love to his brother and the followin
8、g war, he agreed with his brothers decision. When he saw the Trojans heads claimed to fight with Greek allied forces, he was very clear that they would be defeated and there was nothing could do to stop it, but he firmly beard the responsibility to protect his country. He was sad for the miserable f
9、ate of Troy and his family, his people, but he controlled his sadness and faced his strong rival bravely. Of course, he was killed, but even death couldnt lower his head. No matter what the result is, what we saw is just a big tragedy. People in the war failure or successor experienced a war that bought them fear, tears, death and misery. War is still going on even in the present, but we will never stop the step to explore the peace in our hearts just like Achilles.
