27、s (accord ing to DIN 740 part 2) for the particular applicati on (see ROTEX ? catalogue).If the operating conditions (performanee, speed, changes at engine and machine) change, the coupli ng select ion must be checked aga in.Please make sure that the tech nical data regard ing torque only refers to
28、the spider. The tran smissible torque of the shaft/hub connection must be checked by the orderer, and he is resp on sible for the same.For drives with endangered torsional vibration (drives with periodical load on torsional vibration) it is necessary to make a torsional vibration calculation to ensu
29、re a perfect selection. Typical drives with endangered torsional vibration are e. g. drives with diesel engines, piston pumps, piston compressors etc. On request KTR makes the coupling selection and the torsional vibration calculation.2.2 General HintsPlease read through these mounting in struct ion
30、s carefully before you set the coupli ng into operati on. Please pay special atte nti on to the safety in struct ions!The ROTEX coupli ng is suitable and approved for the use in hazardous areas. When using the coupli ng in hazardous areas please observe the special hints and in structi ons regard in

You can be serious
34、ly hurt by rotati ng parts. Please make absolutely sure to read through and observe the followi ng safety in struct ions.All operations on and with the coupling have to be performed taking into account "safety first".Please make sure to dise ngage the power pack before you perform your wor
35、k.Protect the power pack aga inst uninten ti onal en gageme nt, e. g. by providi ng hints at the place of en gageme nt or removi ng the fuse for curre nt supply.Do not touch the operation area of the coupling as long as it is in operation.Please protect the coupli ng aga inst uninten ti onal touch.

38、TEX ? described in here corresponds to the technical status at the time of printing of these mounting in struct ions.3 StorageThe coupli ng hubs are supplied in preserved con diti on and can be stored at a dry and roofed place for 6 - 9 mon ths.The features of the coupli ng spiders (elastomers) rema
39、 in un cha nged for up to 5 years in case of favourable stock con diti ons.CAUTION!The storage rooms may not in clude any ozon e-ge nerati ng devices, like e. g. fluoresce nt light sources, mercury-vapour lamps or electrical high-voltage applia nces.Humid storage rooms are not suitable.Please make s
