In the Midwest where I grew up, it was customary to greet everyone with a smile, a wave, or some other

At first I would try to catch someones eye and say hello. But then, not wanting to destroy their personal thinking time, I backd off and would carefully wait f

California was a mixed bag because there are so many immigrants(移民)that a runners preference for waving greatly relies one where he/she comes from. In the suburbs, it was much more common than in the city. But now that were living in Oregon, I decide
