5、alizedaslongaseverybodygiveshiscontributiontorestoreourhomeland. 我的梦想 从我记事时起，我妈妈就常向我提起草原的景象。“天苍苍，野茫茫，风吹草低现牛羊。”的诗句，在我上小学前就已经耳熟能详了。陪伴我去草原以前，妈妈也只去过一次草原，那是在1988年夏天，妈妈陪南方来的朋友们一起去呼和浩特市北郊的昭和草原观光。妈妈说：草原真美呀，蓝蓝的天空下，茂密的草场，足有一人高，放眼望去，一望无际，风吹过，绿浪翻滚，像大海的波涛，真是一片绿色的海洋。妈妈的描述，使我从六岁起就对草原充满向往。 直到去年的国庆假期，妈妈第一次带我去了草原以后，我
6、脑海中草原的印象却完全变了 当旅游车停在了一片只有几厘米高，更像是一个大草坪一样的操场时，导游说：草原到了。我满怀喜悦的心情被下车时看到的景象迷惑了。问妈妈：这就是草原呀？！怎么不见风吹草低现牛羊啊！妈妈也显得很吃惊。如此低矮的草；更没有洁白的羊群，吃草的马儿也显得无精打采。 在回家的路上，我想了许多是啊，过度的放牧和开垦破坏了草原的美丽，正是人类自己毁坏了我们的家园。 这次带着遗憾的草原之行，深深地触动了我。站在这里，我想说，我有个愿望：朋友们，让我们每个人都尽一份力量，让我可爱的家乡美丽的草原再次重现吧。 trust and love good evening, everyone! thr
7、oughout my years of being a student, ive had many teachers. none of them are the same, but the one that ill never forget and will always miss is my chinese bilingual teacher in the middle school i attended in seattle, ms. ho. she was a skinny, but stylish lady in her 50s. she was different from all
8、the other teachers because she gave me something unforgettable. ms. ho and i became friends right in the first semester i was in that middle school. at the same time, i was having a really hard time with my subjects. since i had just transferred from a bilingual school, where i had stayed for two mo
9、nths after arriving in the us, my english was horrible; my average grade was below c. i almost thought it impossible to learn english. then, one day she told me she strongly believed that i was capable of controlling my life, and i would be just fine. she said that she found we were much alike: both
10、 were stubborn, kind-hearted and a little bit simple-minded. she believed that i had the quality of becoming wise. she even said that she didnt have any worries about me, about my not learning english. with her encouragement, i found the strength within myself and began to desire to work even harder
11、. as a result, i soon proved her right, and at the end of the semester, i got a 3.8 average grade. today, i still keep in touch with her, and she still tells me how she believes in me. sometimes, id think back, and wonder how i could handle all those things if it wasnt for her encouragement and trus
12、t. could i be the person i am today? then, it struck me: what we need has always been trust and love of others; because these things inspire us to do our best, and to live our life to its fullest. to sum up, id like to say to all of you: let us all appreciate trust and love of others and achieve our
13、 full potential in our life! 爱与信任 多年的学生生涯让我认识了不少的老师，每一位老师都不一样。但最让我无法忘怀的是我在西雅图所上的初中里的一位华裔双语老师何老师。这位老师对我有特殊的意义，因为她给我的不是课堂上能收获的东西。 我刚到那所初中的第一个学期，可谓举步维艰。当时我是从一所双语学校转入那所公立普通学校的。那时，我刚到美国两个月，英语差到无法与人沟通。在双语学校中的各科平均成绩在c以下。就在我对学习英语快要失去信心的时候，在学校中几个星期的时间却让我与何老师成为了朋友。在我灰心泄气的时候，何老师对我说，她非常相信我的能力，一切都会好起来的。她说她觉得我们很相
14、似，我有那种克服困难的能力，更不要说学英语这个问题了。在她的鼓舞下，我找到了努力的欲望。结果，我验证了她所说的话。学期末，我的平均成绩上升到了3.8。 to choose, to give up a poet leads me to a branch road: on one side, there are lots of sweet apples, lovely and charming; on the other, there is a patch of thorn, what hides behind the success of struggling against the thorn

17、re, but we must judge carefully what is more important, then give up the others. dont think of them any more, just focus all your spirit on what you are doing. i myself, who is standing here, have already chosen to challenge in such a great competition, so i have to give up ten days of normal classe
18、s in school and relaxation without pressure. but i am still pleased, because giving up properly makes me stick to my choice. lets return to our branch road, which one will your choose? i choose to challenge here! 理性选择，敢于放弃 一位诗人把我引到一个岔路口：一边是甘甜的苹果，鲜艳而诱人;另一边是一条荆棘之路，但隐藏在与荆棘搏斗的成功之后是一座富丽的宫殿。我深深地明白：如果我选择那些
