Before shipment, the exporte
6、r must : (1) find out freight rates(货运价格); (2) select a shipping line and a particular vessel; (3) booking shipping space; (4) register cargo on a shipping note（装货通知单） and send it to a shipping company; (5) register details on customs forms and send them to Customs;,1.1The procedures for shipment of

28、ent letter to prospective clients When writing to a prospective client in order to make shipment, the following contents should be included in the letter: (1) Inform the buyer that the goods under contract have been shipped via S.S. on date. (2) Advise the buyer what shipping documents have been sen

(3)Wish the goods to arrive in good condition (4) Thank the buyer for his order and wish to receive his repeat order.,4 Writing Strategy,Thank you for your letter of 20 May enquiring about the shipment of your order under contract 4632. 33、，扩大出口的需要，也可灵活适当运用寄售方式。 寄售”是一种有别于代理销售的贸易方式。它是指委托的人（货主）先将货物运往寄售地，委托国外一个代销人（受委托人），按照寄售协议规定的条件，由代销人代替货主进行，货物出售后，由代销人向货主结算货款的一种贸易做法。,5 Special terms,5.2 shipping document 货运单据一般就是你委托别人给你运货，由货运代理公司出具的货运单据。出口单据对外贸易业务中，出口汇票所附的海运提单、保险单及商业发票总称为货运单据。,5 Special terms,5.3 packing list 装箱单又称包装单，是用以说明货物包装细节的清单,注明每
34、件包装货物的名称、净重、毛重、包装尺码等内容的单据。装箱单的作用主要是补充发票内容，详细记载包装方式、包装材料、包装件数、货物规格、数量、重量等内容，便于进口商或海关等有关部门对货物的核准。 装箱单所列的各项数据和内容必须与提单等单据的相关内容一致，还要与货物实际情况相符。,5 Special terms,5.4 insurance policy 亦称“保单”。保险人与被保险人或投保人之间订立保险合同的书面证明。主要载明保险合同双方当事人的权利、义务及责任。其主要内容为：保险人及被保险人的名称；货物名称、包装种类及件数、唛头及件号；装运港和目的港名称；载运船只名称及开航日期；保险条款及承包险别
