25、s-CRP C-Reactive Protein in CVD,Elevated hs-CRP levels in healthy populations predict vascular events such as MI and stroke as well as the development of diabetes. Hs-CRP is a useful biomarker in risk prediction and treatment outcome assessment. Hs-CRP was also implicated directly in atherogenesis.

26、CRP has been found in human atherosclerotic plaque and shown to cause endothelial cell dysfunction, oxidant stress and intimal hypertrophy in experimental models.
