3、ine.TheLifeoftheAuthorLoisLowryAfterreceivingherBachelorsDegreeinEnglishLiterature,Lowrybeganwritingherfirstbook.Herfirstchildrensbookwas A Summer To Diewhichwaspublishedin1977.ShepublishedNumber the Stars in1990whichreceivedtheNewberyMedal.TheNewberryMedalTheJohnNewberyMedal,honorstheauthoroftheyea
