21、 Deadline for CENELEC: 2009-05-08. It has been drawn up by CLC/TC 61. If this draft becomes an amendment, CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration. 22、his draft amendment was established by CENELEC in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the Central Secretariat has the same status as the official vers

26、C61/WG6/J in co-operation with the 3 MD Consultant, taking also into account the results of CENELEC TC61/WG6 work on EN 60335-1. 4 The approach to amend EN 60335-2-69:2003 aiming toward listing the standard under the MD was 5 discussed and approved during the Kista meeting of CENELEC TC61 in June 20

27、08 (see 6 CLC/TC 61/SEC/1649), when it was decided to submit a draft for an amendment to the Unique 7 Acceptance Procedure. 8 In this document, the text of the draft amendment FprAC is written in blue. The National Committees are 9 invited to vote on this blue text only. 10 If voted positively, the

28、present document as a whole will be approved as a new edition of EN 60335-2-69 11 with the common modifications identified by a vertical line in the left margin. 12 The following dates are proposed: 13 latest date by which the existence of the amendment has to be announced at national level (doa) do

29、r + 3 months latest date by which the amendment has to be implemented at national level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2009-12-29 (same as dow) latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2009-12-29 * * A do

34、of Part 1 is replaced by the following. 32 This European Standard deals with the safety of electrical motor-operated vacuum cleaners, 33 including dust extractors and back-pack vacuum cleaners, for wet suction, dry suction, or wet 34 and dry suction, intended for commercial indoor or outdoor use wit

35、h or without attachments. 35 NOTE Z101 Commercial use of these vacuum cleaners is for example their use in hotels, schools, hospitals, 36 factories, shops and offices for other than normal housekeeping purposes. 37 The following power systems are covered: 38 mains powered motors up to a rated voltag

36、e of 250 V for single-phase appliances and 39 480 V for other appliances, 40 battery powered motors. 41 This standard also applies to machines handling hazardous dust, such as asbestos. 42 NOTE Z102 Additional requirements for machines handling hazardous dust are given in Annex AA.
