Common Name: butralin 1.1 The word “butralin” (pronounced byii-tr-lin) has been accepted as the American National Standard Com- mon Name for the chemical 4-(1,l-dimethylethylN- (1 -methylpropyl2,6-dinitrobenzenamine. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard

Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to t.e 100% pure chemi- Cal. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of butralin present; for example, butr
