Common Name: buthidazole 1.1 The word “buthidazole” (pronounced by-thid-a- zl) has been accepted as the American National Stan- dard Common Name for the chemical 3-5-(1 ,l-di- methylethyl) 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl -4-hydroxy- I-methyl- 2-imidazolidinone. 1.2 Acceptance signifies com
3、pliance with American National Standard Procedure for the Acceptance of an American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical, K62.1-1974. 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chem- ical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentag
4、e of buthidazole present; for example, buthid- azole - 93797%. 2.3 The Sponsor2 of the common name “buthidazole” Also known as 3-(S-tert-butyC 1,3,6thiadiazo&2-y1)-4- hydroxy-1-methyl-2-imidazohdinone.
