2、nounced sek-by- ma-,tan) has been accepted as the American National Standard Common Name for the chemical N-ethyl-6- methoxy-A”-( 1-methylpropy1)- 1,3,5-triazine-2,4 dia- mine. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard Procedure for the Acceptance of an American National St
3、andard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical, K62.1-1974. 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 1!?41 pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of secbumeton present; for example, secbumeton - 90% minimum. 2.3 The Sponsor of the common na
4、me “secbumeton” I Also known as 2-(sec-butylamino)-4-(ethylamino)-6-methoxy- s-triazine. *Name furnished upon request. has agreed to release and permit the use of the name “secbumeton” with respect to any product, whether or not manufactured or formulated by it, which con- tains a pest control chemi
5、cal conforming to the de- scription set forth in this American National Standard. 3. Limitations Neither the American National Standards Institute nor its committee guarantees or assumes any responsi- bility that use of this name in connection with this or any other chemical or product will not infr
6、inge on or conflict with any existing proprietary name, trademark, or trade name. Approval as an American National Stan- dard Common Name constitutes recognition by the Standards Institute that a consensus exists within a representative committee, operating under Institute procedures and basing its
7、recommendation on data sub- mitted by a Sponsor, favoring consideration of the use of the name to designate the pest control chemical de- scribed herein by all interested persons.
