3、ation of gas may cause asphyxiation without warning. In confined spaces and at high concentrations, gas may cause dizziness, drowsiness and asphyxiation. Many gases are heavier than air and will collect in low or confined areas (drains, basements, tanks). Container damage from impact, fire or chemic

Warn other traffic and people at risk. SPILL OR LEAK Carry out action under For all emergencies. Do not touch or walk through spi

8、lled material. Stop leak if safe to do so. If possible, turn leaking container so that gas escapes rather than liquid. Do not exert excessive pressure on valve. Do not attempt to operate damaged valve. Prevent entry into waterways, drains or confined areas. Use water spray to disperse gas. Do not di

9、rect water at source of leak. Allow substance to evaporate. Ventilate the area. FIRE (If load not affected, refer to Vehicle Fire EPG) Carry out action under For all emergencies. If safe to do so, move undamaged containers from fire area. Cool containers by spraying flooding quantities of water onto

10、 upper surface until well after fire is out. Cool containers and fight secondary fire from protected position or use unmanned hose holders or monitor nozzles. If containers cannot be kept wet, evacuate all personnel for at least 100 m. Withdraw immediately in case of sound from venting safety device

11、s. FIRST AID GENERAL Remove victim to fresh air. Keep victim warm and quiet. Obtain immediate medical care. Ensure that attending medical personnel are aware of identity and nature of product involved, and take precautions to protect themselves. INHALED Apply resuscitation if victim is not breathing

12、. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult. Obtain immediate medical care. SKIN Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Clothing frozen to the skin should be thawed before being removed. In case of cryogenic burn (frostbite), thaw skin with lukewarm water. * The emergency procedures s
