The English and French versions of this Harmonization Document are provided by the

They are common to various types of mechanica

22、l structures, but most of them are derived from IEC Publications 297-1, 297-2 and 297-3. Illustrations are added in the list of terms when appropriate to support correct term usage. Where a term is self-explanatory no definition is given, for instance “front panel”. The same applies for terms alread

23、y defined in IEC Publication 50. 2 Object The terms in this standard shall be used in other standards for mechanical structures of electronic equipment and in related technical documents. The purpose is to promote a clear understanding of the subject characterized by a standard term and thereby to e

24、ase verbal and written communications. For example, the term “equipment practice” shall be used when a mechanical structure is meant according to the definition contained in the list given in this standard. 3. Terminologie et dfinitions3.
