This issue of BS 9093 supersedes the publication dated December 1973. 2 Scope This British Standard prescribes those rules for drafting which, in conjunction with the general drafting rules containe
8、d in section 2 of BS 9090, are required for the preparation of detail specifications for variable pre-set capacitors of assessed quality, full assessment level. 3 Dimensions and outline drawings (see 1.2.3 of BS 9090) The detail specification shall prescribe for each pattern: dimensions. 4 Ratings a
9、nd characteristics The detail specification shall prescribe the ratings and characteristics in accordance with 1.1.12, 2.1.5 and 2.1.6 of BS 9090. The environmental category shall preferably be selected from the following list: 5 Application notes The detail specification shall include any informati

11、not exceeding 20 %. The capacitors shall then be allowed to cool to room temperature in a desiccator using a suitable desiccant, such as activated alumina or silica gel, and shall be kept therein from the time of removal from the oven to the beginning of the test. 7 Descriptive code The detail speci
