8、onal (including stand-offs, where appropriate), providing overall dimensions conform. 1.2 For BS 9076 N002 and N004 only, the projection of the capacitor outline on the L T plane shall fall within an area L(max.) + 0.8 T(max.) + 0.8, symmetrically placed about the wire centres. 1.3 The capacitor sha

9、ll be capable of seating firmly on the printed circuit board, and the body moulding shall not seal off the holes in the printed circuit board through which the capacitor leads pass. Table 1 Dimensions The preferred tolerance on S is 0.35 mm but a tolerance of + 0.35 0.7 mm is permissible. Where the

10、permissible tolerance on S is used this shall be stated in the application for qualification approval and a note that it has been used shall be included in the qualified products list. 20、4:1974 BSI 01-20003 4 Marking The marking of the component and package shall be in accordance with the requirements of 1.1.6 of BS 9070. 5 Ordering information When ordering capacitors to this detail specification the following information shall be given: 1) Capacitance value and tolerance. 2) Rated

21、 voltage. 3) BS number of this detail specification. 4) Pattern number, if not preferred number (see Table 1 and Table 2). 5) Lead length (BS 9076 N002 and N004 only). Example: 0.022 4F 5 % 250 V, pattern 1, leads 4mm to BS 9076 N004. 6 Inspection requirements 6.1 The capacitors covered by this spec

22、ification shall be tested to the inspection requirements given below. 6.2 This schedule gives the appropriate tests from BS 9070:Section 6 or, where appropriate, Section 1. For additional details reference must be made to BS 9070:Section 1. Tests shall be performed in the order in which they appear

23、in this schedule. 6.3 The performance requirements to be met in the initial and final measurements of the tests in this schedule are prescribed in Table 3. Samples submitted to tests marked “(D)” shall not be accepted for release under BS 9000 (see 2.6.5 of BS 9000-1). Inspection BS 9070:Section 1:1
