There are many types of wallcovering and varied processes used in their manufacture. To ensure satisfactory performance, it is import

32、ant that decorators follow the manufacturers recommended hanging instructions for each particular product. Various grades of washability and colour fastness to light of finished wallcoverings are recognized and symbols to indicate these grades are given in this standard, as well as symbols to indica

33、te pattern matching, methods of application and methods of subsequent removal from the support. This will facilitate the selection by the user of wallcoverings appropriate to his particular needs and guide the decorator. Related European Standards on the vocabulary and symbols used in the wallcoveri

Other European Standards covering textile wallcoverings and heavy duty wallcoverings are in course of preparation. 1 Object and field of application This European Standard: specifies requirements for dimensions, minimum

The marking requirements of this standard are primarily for information of the consumer and to enable optimum use to be made of the product. This standard applies to finished wallpaper, wall vinyl and plastics wallcover
