3、word This British Standard is the English language version of EN 60875-1-1:1998. It is identical with IEC 60875-1-1:1996. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee EPL/86, Fibre optics, to Subcommittee EPL/86/2, Interconnecting devices and passive components, which
4、 has the responsibility to: aid enquirers to understand the text; present to the responsible international/European committee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them
5、in the UK. A list of organizations represented on this subcommittee can be obtained on request to its secretary. From 1 January 1997, all IEC publications have the number 60000 added to the old number. For instance, IEC 27-1 has been renumbered as IEC 60027-1. For a period of time during the change
6、over from one numbering system to the other, publications may contain identifiers from both systems. 23、y the fixed sample procedure are defined in Table 1. 3 Quality conformance inspection 3.1 Lot-by-lot inspection The test schedules for lot-by-lot inspection (groups A and B) are defined in Table 2. 3.2 Periodic inspection The test schedules for periodic inspection (groups C and D) are defined in Tab
24、le 3. 4 Detail specification worksheet The worksheet following is intended to aid in the preparation of detail specifications. Spaces are provided for entering the information. When the spaces are completed, the detail specification can be drafted in its final form. The spaces are identified by numb
25、ers between brackets. Instructions for completing these numbered spaces are given below. When drafting the final detail specification, eliminate the bracketed instruction numbers. 1 The IEC number assigned to the detail specification is added by the National Committee. 2 The date of the detail speci
26、fication is added by the National Committee. 3 Enter the name and address of the National Committee. 4 Enter the component classification. 5 Enter the page numbers where the variants are defined. 6 Enter the climatic category, if applicable. 7 Enter the assessment level(s). If the assessment level i
27、s other than a standard level, it is designated by the capital letter “X”. 8 Add the qualification procedure required for the detail specification (fixed sample or lot-by-lot procedure). 9 Add figures showing the limit dimensions for standard reference components and gauges if they are required. Dis
28、play the figures in the format shown. 10 Tabulate the identification number for each variant. Assign a column in the table for each variant feature (for example, fibre size, cable jacket diameter, alternative mounting schemes, etc.). 11 Enter supplementary information with respect to marking, requir
29、ements for certified records of released lots, and other appropriate information. 12 Table 1 defines the required measurements and tests for qualification by fixed sample size. Specify the sample size for each group in column “n”. When a test or measurement is defined which is not given in IEC 1300,
30、 but appears in another IEC publication, indicate the reference by a note in the table. When a test or a measurement is defined which is not given in an IEC publication, clearly describe the procedure in an individual annex to the detail specification. Use an identical format to that used in IEC 130
31、0. Reference the procedure by a note in the table. After completing the group “0” tests, the sample is divided to form the other sample groups. When needed, instructions for dividing the sample are given as a note in the table. 13 Table 2 defines the required measurements and tests for groups A and
