8、ISO 1478:1995 ii BSI 08-1999 National foreword This British Standard has been prepared under the direction of the Engineering Sector Board and is the English language version of EN ISO 1478:1994 Tapping screws thread, published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is identical wit
9、h ISO 1478:1983, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It supersedes BS 7277:1990, which is withdrawn. In 1994 the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) accepted ISO 1478:1983 as European Standard EN ISO 1478:1994. As a consequence of implementing the European
10、 Standard, BS 7277 is renumbered as BS EN ISO 1478:1995. This edition makes no technical changes to the standard. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a Bri
11、tish Standard does not of itself confer immunity from legal obligations.
