8、-iron-chromium-molybdenum-aluminium- titanium heat-resisting alloy plate, sheet and strip. 1 Inspection and testing procedure This British Standard shall be used in conjunction with the relevant sections of the latest issue of BS HR 100 as follows: 2 Manufacture The material shall be manufactured by

9、 one of the following processes. a) air melting and vacuum refining; b) air melting and consumable electrode vacuum arc remelting; c) air melting, vacuum refining and consumable electrode remelting; d) vacuum melting and consumable electrode remelting. 3 Chemical composition The alloy shall contain:

10、 4 Condition Unless otherwise agreed, the material shall be supplied in the appropriate condition stated below: 5 Heat treatment 5.1 Softening treatment. The softening treatment shall consist of heating at a temperature of 1 040 C for 2 h, followed by quenching in water. 5.2 Solution treatment. The

11、solution treatment shall consist of heating at a temperature of 1 040 C for 2 h, followed by cooling in air or quenching in oil. 5.3 Final heat treatment. The final heat treatment shall consist of the following. a) Solution treatment in accordance with 5.2. b) Precipitation treatment as follows. 1)

12、Stage 1. Heat at a temperature of 800 C for 2 h, followed by cooling in air. 2) Stage 2. Heat at a temperature of 700 C for 16 h, followed by cooling in air. 6 Mechanical properties 6.1 Mechanical tests. The mechanical properties obtained from test pieces, selected, prepared and tested in accordance

13、 with the relevant requirements of BS HR 100, shall be as follows. 6.1.1 Tensile test at 600 C Bars for machining and sections sections 1 and 2 Forging stock and billets and bars for subsequent working sections 1 and 3 Forgingssections 1 and 4 Parts finally heat treated after machining sections 1 an
