MPEG- 2 transport packets are

、 carried in the Common Isochronous Packet (CIP) structure defined in IEC 61883-1 12, time-stamped and packetized as specified in IEC 61883-4 14. Transport for ATSC Terrestrial Broadcast is further defined and constrained in ATSC A/53, Part 3:2007 1 Annex C. 3.1.2 Service Structure ATSC Terrestrial B

、roadcast conforms to the service structure defined in MPEG-2 Systems 19, Sec. 2.4.4, Program Specific Information (PSI). PSI tables include the Program Association Table (PAT) and the TS Program Map Table (PMT). 3.1.3 Service Information ATSC Terrestrial Broadcast Transport Streams include Service I

、nformation (SI) in accordance with ATSC A/65C 4 PSIP. PSIP data may or may not be present in the Transport Stream provided on the 1394 bus by a source device. Whether or not SI is present, the method defined in CEA-775-C 6 Sec. 11.1 is used by the DTV to select a service for decoding and display. 3.

、1.4 Video ATSC Terrestrial Broadcast Transport Streams include video elementary streams conformant to ATSC A/53, Part4:2007 2. Video bit rates for Terrestrial Broadcast can be as high as 19.4 Mbps (corresponding to a video sequence header bit_rate_value not to exceed 48500). 3.1.5 Audio ATSC Terrest

、rial Broadcast Transport Streams include audio elementary streams conformant to ATSC A/53, Part 5:2007 3. 3.1.6 Copy Protection Users of this standard should also note that, at some future point, copy protection parameters, methods and/or standards are expected to be established with which copy-prot

、ected content originating from ATSC Terrestrial Broadcast and traversing the DTV 1394 interface will be required to comply. 3.1.7 Closed Captions ATSC Terrestrial Broadcast Transport Streams transport closed captioning data in picture user data in accordance with ATSC A/53, Part 4:2007 2. The captio

、n data itself conforms to CEA- 708-C 5. Users of this Standard should refer to the FCC rules 7 specifying requirements for transmission and processing of closed captioning data. 7 CEA-849-B Copyright Consumer Electronics Association Provided by IHS under license with CEA Licensee=Boeing Co/591077000

US cable transport is further defined and constrained in SCTE 54 2006 22. 3.2.2 Service Structure US cable conforms to the service structure defined in MPEG-2 Systems 19, Sec. 2.4.4, Program Specific Information (PSI). PSI tables include

、the Program Association Table (PAT) and the TS Program Map Table (PMT). 3.2.3 Service Information US cable Transport Streams may include Service Information (SI) in accordance with ATSC A/65C 4 per Sec. 5.7.1 of SCTE 54 2006 22. Whether or not SI is present, the method defined in CEA-775-C 6 Sec. 11

、.1 is used by the DTV to select a service for decoding and display. 3.2.4 Video US cable video conforms to MPEG-2 Video 20. Allowed compression, video formats and frame rates are specified and constrained in ANSI/SCTE 43 2005 23 Sec. 5.1.2 and are summarized in CEA-818-E 25 Part II, Sec 5.3. These f
