1、 ENGINEERING STANDARDS Material Specification Plastics GMP.PVC.035 PVC 60 Shore A, Interior, Integral Colored, Extrusion/Injection Molding Compound 1 Scope This specification covers the properties of an Integral colored Black, 60 Shore A Hardness, UV stable, Poly (vinyl chloride), pellet form, extru

2、sion or injection-molding compound 1.1 Symbol. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is PVC. 1.2 Typical Application. Materials approved to this specification may be extrusion or injection moldable. Check with GM Materials Engineering or the approved source for specific materials for the

3、intended application use. 4、885 ISO 3451-1 2.2 GM Standards/Specifications. GM9305P GMW3001 GM9329P GMW3059 GM9503P GMW3221 3 Requirements 3.1 Requirements on Delivery. 3.1.1 Requirements On Test Specimens. Tests shall be conducted using the latest issue of the test methods indicated. Suitable precautions should be taken to en

5、sure that applicable safe limits are not exceeded when conducting test procedures, processes, and/or handling the materials required by this specification. All testing in standard conditions to this specification shall be performed in accordance with GMW3221, “Procedure for Standard Conditions of Or

6、ganic Materials”. Tests shall be conducted 40 h minimum after molding and immediately following a conditioning period of 24 hours minimum at 22 3C and 50 5% RH unless otherwise specified. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens. In addition, tests specified at temperatures below or abov

7、e 22 3C shall be conducted at the specified temperature using specimens conditioned at the specified temperature for 4 hours minimum. Test specimens shall be 1.8 0.2 mm thick unless otherwise specified. Property values are the average of an equal number of specimens cut from both the longitudinal an

8、d transverse plaque directions. The minimum values specified in the property tables must be met by test specimens in natural, black, or in a standard sampled color if natural or black are not available. For colored grades where other pigment and additive systems (e.g. stabilizer) are used, the impac

9、t values shall not decrease more than 10 % from the specified minimum value. 18、erials supplied to this specification must comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for Parts. 6 Approved Sources Engineering qualification of an approved source is required for this specification. Only sources listed in the GM Materials File (i.e., MATSPC) under

19、 this specification number have been qualified by engineering as meeting the requirements of this specification. 7 Coding System This material specification shall be referenced in other documents, drawings, VTS, CTS, etc. as follows: GMP.PVC.035 8 Release and Revisions 8.1 Release.
