2、al requirements of the prepolymer component of a two part polyurethane foam. 1.1 Material Description. 1.1.1 The acoustical polyurethane foam system is comprised of a 24:1 mixture (by volume) of an amine/water curative (9986184) and an isocyanate prepolymer (9986185). The mixture of 9986184 and 9986

3、185 is identified as 9986183. 1.1.2 The structural polyurethane foam system is comprised of a 4:1 mixture (by volume) of prepolymer (9986185) and amine/polyol surfactant mixture (9986241). The mixture of 9986185 and 9986241 is identified as 9986242. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standa

4、rds are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specifications. ASTM D92 ASTM D2196 ASTM D1638 2.2 GM Standards/Specifications. 9986183 GM9763P 9986184 GMW3001 9986241 GMW3059 9986242 3 Requirements 3.1 Requirements on Delivery. The isocyanate prepolymer must be homogeneous and

5、 free of lumps, unmixed particles and foreign materials. 3.1.1 Chemical Requirements. Not applicable. 3.1.2 Mechanical Requirements. 3.1.2.1 Stability, GM9763P. Store in airtight containers away from heat and sunlight. 3.1.2.2 Elevated Temperature. As shipped, the material must be capable of withsta

6、nding temperature range of 55C for 72 h. 3.1.2.3 Low Temperature. As shipped, the material must be capable of withstanding three cycles of the applicable cycle schedule outlined in A2 of GM9763P. 3.1.2.4 Storage. The shelf life of the material in closed containers shall be 90 days at a temperature n

7、ot to exceed 35C. Shelf life of the material commences upon the receipt of the material from the manufacturer. 3.1.3 Physical Requirements. 3.1.3.1 Color. The two components, polyol curative and isocyanate hardener shall be in contrasting colors. The colors shall be so picked that in instances of im

8、proper mixing, color striations shall be visible in the dispensed bead. 3.1.3.1.1 Material Properties. See Table 1.
