11、EADS. American (National) Standard Taper Pipe cation WW-N-351. Thread. The gaging limit shall be plus or mmus one thread. Threads shall be chamfered to a 45 angle, one thread deep. 2 MATERIAL Pipe for steel nipples shall conform to 4 FINISH. Cadmium or zinc plating: GM4252M, Code Federal Specificati
12、on WW-P-403 for standard weight pipe 15, specification applies. It requires cadmium or zmc thick- and shall withstand a minimum internal hydrostatic pressure neSs of 0.00015 min and 24 h salt spray. of 700 p.s.i. Pipe for brass nipples shall conform to Federal Specification WW-P-351 for standard wei
13、ght pipe and shall 5 DEFECTS. Pipe Nipples must be free from burrs, loose withstand a minimum internal hydrostatic pressure of scale, sharp edges and all other defects that might affect their 1000 p.s.i. serviceability.
