Overview 1.1 Scope This standard provides the testing and evaluation criteria

35、 for installed radiation detection portal monitors that detect radioactive materials (without identification capabilities). These systems are used to provide monitoring of people, packages, containers, and vehicles to detect illicit radioactive material transportation. Portal monitors are used for d

36、etection of photon- and neutron-emitting radioactive substances for the purposes of detection, interdiction, and prevention. 1.2 Purpose The purpose of this standard is to specify performance criteria and test methods used to evaluate installed radiation detection portal monitors for use in U.S Home
